The land of the Cannubi vineyard was born about 12 million years ago through the sedimentation of the Po Valley Sea. This is Barolo’s most famous and renowned cru, already mentioned in historical documents dating back to 1700. It has an excellent complexity of terroir, formed by large soils of calcareous clay rocks and a favourable climate that make this hill one of the most suitable for the cultivation of vines in the world. Cannubi wines are by far the most elegant and long-lived of the entire Barolo wine panorama.
