New vintage of our youngest Tempranillo, we present Finca Resalso 2021
Bodegas Emilio Moro launches the new vintage of Finca Resalso 2021, the tempranillo made from its youngest vineyards, a wine that offers an appealing flavour that lingers on the palate, delighting it and inviting you to continue enjoying it.
Finca Resalso 2021 is a single varietal Tempranillo, aged in French oak and has a very bright cherry red colour with a very defined and intense fruity aroma of ripe red fruits, blueberries and blackberries. Once you taste it, its flavour is balanced with an easy pass through the palate, and it has a very pleasant and long finish.
This vintage is characterised by a climate of light temperatures during the spring, with accumulated rainfall in April and a summer of slightly lower temperatures than usual. This slowed the plant’s growth cycle. During the ripening period, autumn’s low rainfall favoured the process. The wine was macerated for 12 days on its own skins. Once this time had passed, malolactic fermentation began in a stainless steel tank, this process lasted 30 days. Finally, it was aged in French oak.
Although it comes from the winery’s youngest vines, its name refers to a vineyard that was planted in 1932, the year of the birth of Emilio Moro, father of the current owners, which gives this wine a very emotional character. Thus, this red wine combines the youth of the vineyards with tradition, resulting in a wine that is very easy to pair.
Its combination of freshness and simplicity make it a balanced and expressive wine, perfect for everyday life and also very suitable to bring with you (and a good choice) if you go to a friend’s house for dinner. Another of its hallmarks is its excellent value for money. Not surprisingly, the vintages preceding Finca Resalso 2021 have always managed to position themselves at the top of the sales charts of the main wine portals.
