They say that life without music is no life at all. Music has always been part of our history, of our culture. It has the power to change our mood, to stand by us when it’s not our day, to fill empty spaces, to transport us through our memories and, above all, to make us feel, to move us.
And Bodegas Emilio Moro, a family winery with more than 100 years of history, has joined forces with the indie rock and pop group Viva Suecia, in a collaboration in which music and wine are the perfect partners to unleash those emotions and to meet one of the winery’s challenges, to support culture.
Bodegas Emilio Moro and Viva Suecia join forces to merge wine and music and bring the quality and tradition of the winery to the fans of Viva Suecia and make it clear that culture is part of our DNA. This union is born out of passion, love for music and the need to find those stimuli that lead us to feel, to be moved.
With this collaboration, Bodegas Emilio Moro seeks to expand its presence in the music territory, reaching out to Viva Suecia fans and creating a deeper connection with these consumers. ‘We are excited to be working with Viva Suecia. Their music and our passion for wine complement each other perfectly, allowing us to reach a new and diverse audience,’ said Javier Moro, president of Bodegas Emilio Moro.
Viva Suecia, who were able to visit the winery while their tour took them to Valladolid to take part in the Conexión Valladolid Festival, also expressed their enthusiasm for this alliance: ‘For us, music and wine are art forms that bring people together and create unforgettable memories. We love to end our concerts toasting with a bottle of wine, and now, to do it with a bottle of Emilio Moro makes that moment even more special’.
Wine and music lovers will be able to enjoy this union and discover that, in the search for sensations, Bodegas Emilio Moro and Viva Suecia are the perfect partners because, if there is one thing that both the Moro family and the members of Viva Suecia -Rafa, Jess, Alberto and Fernando- know about, it is emotions.
Culture is the soul of our society
This collaboration is not the only one with which Bodegas Emilio Moro is involved in the world of culture, an area that it has been supporting for some time as one of the pillars of the company. This year, for the second time, they sponsored the Culture Forum, which featured the actor, comedian and cartoonist Joaquín Reyes. An event that has become an essential meeting point in the region to bring together personalities from all over the world to share ideas, reflect and offer very interesting talks.
They were also present as sponsors at CerARTmic Madrid, the first contemporary art and ceramics fair in Spain with the aim of developing, sustaining and expanding the practice of ceramics. And as a prelude to the collaboration with Viva Suecia, Bodegas Emilio Moro has been part of the Wine Conexión Valladolid, an initiative of the Diputación de Valladolid, thanks to which the vineyards of the winery became a unique stage where Marilia, ex-member of Ella Baila Sola, offered a unique evening.
‘Culture is the soul of our society’, says the fourth generation member and Marketing Director of Bodegas Emilio Moro, Héctor Medina Moro, who is clear that the winery, recognised all over the world, has the power and responsibility to support art, music and cinema because culture is what motivates them. ‘We firmly believe in the power of culture’, with four generations of the family dedicated body and soul to winemaking, they state emphatically that without culture they could not have got where they are. ‘Culture inspires us to create wines that tell stories and bring people together,’ he says, helping them to demystify the false belief that “to enjoy wine, you have to be an expert”.
