Bodegas Emilio Moro, one of the most nationally and internationally renowned wineries in Ribera del Duero has once again participated in the 8th edition of the Salón GastroCanarias, one of the most important gastronomic fairs in Spain, which its president, Javier Moro, didn’t want to miss.

The winery has always considered the Canary Islands as a key market for the reception of its wines. “We have been bringing our wines to the Canary Islands for many years and we can only be grateful for the immense affection with which they are treated and the support we receive. It’s an area where we feel very comfortable and where we have a lot of possibilities for growth, which is why we want to be here,’ says Javier Moro.

The presentation included two events aimed at the hotel and catering industry, the press and end customers. Undoubtedly, three of the key sectors for Bodegas Emilio Moro.

The first consisted of a tasting of Champagnes with wines from Joseph Perrier given by Jordi Melendo, the brand’s Brand Ambassador, which was attended by representatives of the local press and food critics. In addition, the second stop took place this Thursday, the traditional uncorking of an 18L bottle of Melchor from Emilio Moro by Javier Moro at the Egatesa Stand.

The president of the winery was accompanied by a member of the sales team and Toño Armas, CEO of the company’s distributor in this territory, El Gusto por el Vino, who presented the wines to the attendees and conveyed the philosophy of Bodegas Emilio Moro and the importance for them to remain united and work as a team to achieve the challenges that await them.

The aim was to bring the wines of Bodegas Emilio Moro closer to the attendees, who were able to taste them and learn details about the production and peculiarities of each one of them.

Javier Moro wanted to share with the audience the good moment in which they find themselves. ‘We are living a very special situation as a company and as a family. We are immersed in a time of new opportunities, growth and continuous progress, which we are facing with great enthusiasm and the desire to continue obtaining good results as we have done so far’, he said.

NEXT STEPS
The Valladolid winery is currently experiencing a period of national and international growth with a multitude of new projects that will soon see the light of day.

In November 2022 Bodegas Emilio Moro began a new relationship with Joseph Perrier, a French Champagne house dedicated to the production of Champagne since 1825, becoming the official distributor in Spain. ‘This union arises from the values that both families share, and we are very excited to be able to collaborate with them,’ said Javier Moro.

In addition, its project in El Bierzo continues to go from strength to strength with the construction of its own winery, 60 hectares already owned and three wines on the market made from the Godello grape that never cease to delight.
